A review from last years's winner -
from Kelli S...

"Myself and three friends enjoyed a fun filled week at the Royal Mayan and couldn't have asked for better accomodations!  There was more than enough space for the four of us with the two bedrooms and seperate living room/kitchen area.  The accomodations were extremely clean and the housekeeping staff was very accomodating in getting us extra towels and cleaning when it was convenient for us.  We had the same housekeeper every day and he was so incredibly nice and friendly that we nominated him for the resorts customer service award.

It was wonderfully short stroll to the beach, pools and restaurants from our room.  We never had a problem finding seating on the beach or getting waited on by the staff for our "vacation sized" cocktails!  Both restaurants had a very good selection to choose from and we also took advantage of the complimentary shuttle to the restaurant across the way for amazing seafood, drinks and scenery.  Having a hotel mini-mart was extremely convenient for stocking our kitchen as well when we felt like eating in or having a late night snack.

We took advantage of the tour desk at the hotel and went on a snorkeling excursion that also included lunch and margaritas.  The staff at the desk did a great job asking questions of us to see what tour would best fit our needs.  We had an amazing time snorkeling out over the reef and seeing sea turtles, stingrays and other amazing undersea sites.  Our lunch was a buffet with authentic food and wonderful drinks.

We felt extremely safe in our accomodations and surroundings at all times.  We all had an AMAZING time and would highly recommend the trip and accomodations to anyone thinking of a trip to Cancun."

NEW DONATION!

Ever wonder what it's like to put on a newscast?  Wonder no more. John Knicely, WOWT 5, 6 and 10 news anchor,  and the host of this years Benefit Auction is going to take you (the winning bidder) and five of your best friends on a personal "Behind the Scenes Tour" at WOWT.  You will also enjoy a live viewing of the 6:00 p.m. newscast with pizza following.  Must be 12 or older to go on the tour.  More details will be available at the auction.
