Into Temptation is a low budget, independent movie currently playing at the Dundee Theater in Omaha (49th and Dodge.) It was written and produced by Patrick Coyle, a former Omahan. His sister, Susan Naatz, is a good friend of mine; she was the Religious Education Director at Pius X Church for many years before becoming Pastor Minister at my previous parish. Two of Patrick’s and Susan’s sisters were parishioners of mine at St. Vincent de Paul.

The movie is about a priest who hears in confession the sin a woman is going to commit, suicide. But before he can persuade her against it she leaves and he is left with the struggle of deciding to find her or not. She is a prostitute. So, the movie is about what follows from that confession. Since the movie has religious themes, it is hard to get nationwide distribution. The movie is entitled, "Into Temptation" and stars Jeremy Sisto and Kristen Chenowith. Remember, be cautious about what you see and hear; particularly things are alarmist and/or reactionary. Listen to a variety of sources. Be grounded in your faith and understanding. Consider strategies that are available to you. Well-intended reactions may cause undue interest, misdirection and lend unwarranted legitimacy to groups who want attention and easy rewards.
