Core Leadership Accepting Applications
The Junior Core (7th & 8th Grade) and Senior Core (HS) Leadership teams are now accepting applications for the 2010 – 11 school year. Both Junior and Senior Core Leadership meet the third Wednesday of every month from 7 – 830PM in St. Mark’s Hall. Junior and Senior Core are the driving force behind the planning of all of our youth activities and events during the school year. The Leadership team will alternate planning social outings and service experiences for the young people of our parish. This is a fantastic way for youth to develop their skills as young Catholic leaders and have fun planning creative new activities with other young people. Applications may be found on the youth ministry bulletin board and may be returned to the YM, rectory or school offices.

High School Faith Sharing Registration
SMASH high school faith sharing meets the first two Wednesdays of every month from 7 - 830PM in St. Mark’s Hall. SMASH is a great opportunity for youth to come together and focus on issues important to them today as young Catholics. This is a unique program that features a high energy youth led discussion group combined with guest speakers, a terrific film series, exciting local outings, and much more in the works! To register for the 2010 - 11 school year please complete the form which can be found on the YM bulletin board at the church entrance and return it along with registration fee to the youth ministry, rectory or school office. Program cost is $25 for the entire year.

Confirmation Retreat Team
All high school age youth are invited to take on the fun challenge of participating as part of the 2010 Confirmation Retreat Team. The youth team will work the Spirit Stations the day of the 8th grade retreat, Saturday, October 16th at Camp Cedar. This is an amazing way to help our Confirmation candidates realize the importance of community & participation after receiving Confirmation. Youth that signup to work as part of the retreat team should plan on attending our prep meeting Wednesday, September 29th from 7 - 830PM in St. Mark’s Hall. Please contact the youth office with any questions or signup today by completing the form which may be found on the YM bulletin board and returning it into the youth ministry, religious education office or parish rectory office.
